Unless otherwise noted, all meetings will be held in person at the offices of Berstein Shur, 100 Middle Steet, 2nd floor, Portland, Maine, and on Zoom. Parking is available on site. Most meetings are hybrid, but may change to Zoom only depending on the weather. All changes are announced at this website. Links for Zoom meetings will be sent via e-mail on the morning of the meeting.
September 9, 2026 – Photographer, printer, and book artist Peter Bogardus will discuss his interest in photogravure, woodblock, and letter press printing. (hybrid meeting)
October 14, 2026 – Dr. Alexander L. Ames, Curator & Senior Director of Collections Engagement at the Rosenbach Museum & Library. He will speak on the history and collection of the Rosenbach with a special emphasis on Maine materials. (hybrid meeting)
November 12, 2026 – Professor Libby Bischof, Executive Director, Osher Map Library and Smith Center for Cartographic Education. She will speak on Trends in Map Collecting, featuring recent acquisitions from the Osher Map Library. (hybrid meeting)

January 13, 2027 – Annual Show and Tell (Zoom only)
February 10, 2027 – Beppy Owen is a bibliophile and a Councilor of the Grolier Club. She will speak on “Rare Book School and Das Ideale Leben: A Collector’s Journey.” (Zoom only)
March 10, 2027 – Oscar Salguero is the curator of Interspecies Library. He will speak on “Interspecies Library and the Poetics of Non-Human Languages.” (hybrid meeting)
April 20, 2027 – Arnold Hirshon is the President of the Lewis Carroll Society of North America. He will speak on “Picturing Alice: The Art of Illustration.” (hybrid meeting)
May 12, 2027 – Scott Casper, President of the American Antiquarian Society (“AAS”). He will speak about the AAS, its collections, and Maine materials. (hybrid meeting)
