
Reid Byers is the author of The Private Library, listed as one of the best non-fiction books of 2021 by the Washington Post. His current book, Imaginary Books: Lost, Unfinished, and Fictive Works Found Only in Other Books, is published by Oak Knoll. He is the president of the Baxter Society, the bibliophilic association of northern New England, convener of the New England group of the Grolier Club, and chair of the Living with Books group of the Fellowship of American Bibliophilic Societies (FABS). His exhibition, Imaginary Books, will be on show at the Book Club of California in San Francisco from March 17 through July 21.
