Reid Byers is the author of The Private Library, listed among the best non-fiction books of 2021 by the Washington Post. His current book, Imaginary Books: Lost, Unfinished, and Fictive Works Found Only in Other Books, is published by Oak Knoll. At the Grolier Club in New York, he is the host of Collector’s Showcase and the convener of the New England group. He is the host of Living with Books at the Fellowship of American Bibliophilic Societies (FABS). His exhibition, Imaginary Books, will be on show at the USM library in Portland, Maine from January 20 through April 18, 2026.
